Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga relegation/promotion playoffs and preview the upcoming second legs. Was Bochum coach Funkel right to criticize the referee for allowing 2+ stoppage time? What will Favre's approach be in the second leg and do Dresden have a chance to make it to the 2. Bundesliga? We finish with a discussion about Germany's upcoming international matches (the friendly against Uruguay and the two EURO qualifiers following). Löw's squad selection is addressed as well as the prospects of players who have previously not gotten too many chances in the team.

Bundesliga Fanatic Podcast Episode 9

This week we at the Bundesliga Fanatic wrap up another exciting season in Germany's top flight. In the first segment we review the exciting relegation battle on the last match day between Frankfurt, Wolfsburg and Gladbach as well as Bayern, Hannover and Mainz's clinching of the European spots. We also pay tribute to Dortmund's incredible season and detail just what was behind Klopp's success. Our second segment includes a discussion about the season's big talking points as we go into the impressive performances of the league's "small" sides and the many disappointments of it's "bigger" clubs. We also address the many managerial changes that occurred and review which were the most successful and which did not pan out so well.

Bundesliga Fanatic Podcast Episode 7
