The Hinrunde was finally wrapped up this weekend and on this episode we dissect all matches and talking points before the league goes on their winter break.  On our pannel this week we have Martyn Fischer, authority on German football tactics and curator of defensivemidfielder.wordpress.com.  In our first segment we discuss Solbakken's curious tactical decision against Bayern, Babbel's exit at Hertha, a possible disconnect between coach and players at Leverkusen, possibly Wolfsburg's best performance of the season and more.

In our second segment we go over the midweek fixtures in the DFB Cup and some of the more interesting matches.  Can Fortuna Düsseldorf upset Borussia Dortmund and we give our picks for fantasy winter transfers.

In our latest episode, we break down matchday 16 action and take a look at the possible draws in the Champions League and the Europa League.  We start of with some of the results from the weekend, most notably Augsburg's big upset against Mönchengladbach.  Has the bubble burst in Gladbach without Reus and can Augsburg actually manage to stay in the league?  We also touch on Dortmund's draw against Kaiserslautern and the verbal spat between Klopp and Podolski and go over what is going on with Markus Babbel at Hertha Berlin.

In our second segment, we discuss the implications of the upcoming European draws this Friday and what it might mean for the German teams.  Have Leverkusen signed their death warrant by finishing second in the group with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid looming? And are Bayern actually good enough to win the Champions League in their own stadium this year.
